How can that be so? Oftentimes, computers will have two video cards; an "onboard" card and a nice, powerful GPU. People will plug one monitor to the GPU and one to the less powerful "onboard" card and while that might work for daily use, SketchUp doesn't like that. It needs to pump all of the output from the powerful GPU. If this is the case, you will need to make sure the secondary display is plugged directly into the GPU and not into a dock or plugged into a less powerful, onboard video card.
In this case, you would want to test that by disabling your extensions and bringing them back up one at a time. I usually visit the website of my video card manufacturer to make sure I'm getting the best drivers. If none of these resolve the issue, please contact Technical Support and please be specific if you can and if you're able to, please include: A Checkup File PC Only , Bugsplat information if you crashed and submitted a Bugsplat and if this is one or all files you are working on.

Sketchup always freezing by mixzzz » Fri Jun 11, am So the problem is very anoying, it started a few days ago and I sketchup pro 2018 freezing free find solution anywhere, maybe somebody is facing the same or know the answer of fixing it.
Sketchup version When trying to click on object or move it sketchup freezes for sketchup pro 2018 freezing free seconds, sometimes longer. Both left and right mouse clicking is causing same situation. So what I tried to do : Uninstall sketchup and reinstall - did not help Update nvidia drivers - did not help Uninstall new windows updates - did not help Models size obviously freeaing not causing the problem, because I worked on same models few days ago and work was fine.
Will be waiting for ideas to solve it! EDIT : I installed newer version of sketchup trial and it's working well without any problems on same files. Maybe it's as simple as your computer is getting hot because it needs to have the dust and lint cleaned out of it. Since this is new behavior and SketchUp hasn't changed sinceyou need to look at what has changed on your computer. What is the creezing card? Did the drivers get an update with an OS update? Go to the graphics card manufacturer's site to get and install their latest drivers.
It's not uncommon for Windows updates to include broken graphics drivers. Is the file size huge? Where are you saving the file to?
Maybe you're waiting for an autosave to sketchup pro 2018 freezing free. When you installed SketchUp fteezing you do so correctly? When installed fresh I did install as administrator, so did not help, same situation. Sometimes when minimizing and opening again browser PC reacts not so fast and not so quickly restores an already open image as before. So this is one of the observations I think relates with sketchup slow performance. How to fix Sketchup not responding | GrabCAD Tutorials
I installed Sketchup, 3 or 4 days ago and everything was working fine in both and on my mac - no problems. I created new files , installed extensions etc etc. I have tried removing the programme and preference files in the library and from the trash. I have removed them via the library and typed in the file names in Terminal. I have reinstalled and still it crashes after 12 seconds. We also removed support for OS X Where do I find a crash report? The programmes just close.
I got running again briefly this morning. I deleted two files that I had saved to my desktop and then emptied my trash. Everything seemed to be working fine. I closed SU and came back to it a couple of hours later and… same problem. It opens, runs for a few seconds and closes. The reason why I thought there may be some form of internal connection between SU and is that until I loaded I never had any problems running SU Version and are two different applications, but they try to connect to the same servers, Maybe Little snitch is confused by this?
Not quite sure whats going on with SU Creating components with the extra fields is really helpful but generating a report does not give you a total quantity if you have multiples on a single component effectively just listing everything a single items. I attempted to upgrade my laptop too and the generate report does not work at all.
It may just be me but i wondered if anyone else is having teething problems or if the install has affected previous versions? We had even considered buying it, but with such support? Forget it. How can they release such awful piece of software? We are still sticking with version, recovered from our backups, and any extension update will break it up. You should put in your profile the exact graphics card you have. Yours says MBP.

This may have been caused by Windows Updates. Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files.
Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly. Update your drivers from the PC's Support Downloads web page. Compare the latest drivers with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu.
This solves many problems and will also bring it up to the latest version which you need anyway and by the sketchup pro 2018 freezing free stable method. But remember that Factory or Upgrade installs are inferior installs which most enthusiasts won't even run because they'd expect endless issues.
