One new tool in Pub is the 'fine typography" font formating functions which might be what your user is talking about. Now as to your question about the number of fonts, I have no idea how many if any new fonts come with Pub And to be honest, I don't care as I only use a handful anyway. But, if there are any new ones I think your user can get them by installing the trial version of Pub I am pretty sure that all fonts are added to the fonts on the local computer and are available to Pub after the trial expires.
I have 5 versions of Publisher installed on this computer and the font list looks to be the same for every version. So download the trial for Pub and do a custom install When you start to do the install you will be given the option to do a custom install and then you are given the option of not overwriting the old version on the computer. I even suggest that you just create a new folder for Pub rather than let it install in the default location. When you install the trial, if there are any new fonts they will be immediately available in Pub Once again I would reccomend against using Pub for any publication that you need to be compatible with Pub Even if you decide to let this user use Pub I would still keep Pub installed..

In theory yes, assuming that both computers are running Win8 or newer. If your home computer is running Win7 and the other computer is running Win8 or Win10 then there are going to be some fonts that will render in a different size and thus throw off your layout. There may be other differences but no one has mentioned them thus far.
In fact no one has mentioned that there is any reason to 'uprade' from to as apparently there is not much difference in them. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for the reply Does this mean that Publisher could open the Publisher created file directly?
